RETAIL THEFT >> Walgreens, 2727 Cheltenham Ave., reported at 9:27 p.m. Aug. 29 that a male stole $100 worth of goods, police said. AUTOS ENTERED >> Two vehicles in the 300 block of Oak Road were discovered by police at 4:58 a.m. Aug. 30 to have been entered and ransacked, police said.

THEFT >> An unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Harrison Avenue was gone through overnight Aug. 29 and $40 cash was taken, police said. A second unlocked vehicle on the block had $20 taken, police said. An unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Harrison was also reported entered, but it was unknown what was taken, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male wearing a maroon shirt and blue jeans was seen taking a stack of jeans, valued at $300, from Old Navy, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., at 11:11 a.m. Aug. 30 and fleeing on foot, police said.

THEFT >> A vehicle in the 400 block of Rices Mill Road was found at 11:28 a.m. Aug. 30 with a window smashed and a wallet and iPhone 6 taken, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 35-year-old man of the 4800 block of McKean Street, Philadelph­ia, was arrested at 2:56 p.m. Aug. 30 after attempting to take items from Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, and then calling police to retrieve a tablet he believed he left in the store, police said. He was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> Duwon Barnes, 44, of Philadelph­ia, was taken into custody at 6:36 p.m. Aug. 30 and charged with felony counts of retail theft and receiving stolen property, after taking $1,899 worth of goods from Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, police said.

CARJACKING >> A blue 2007 Toyota Highlander, PA tag GLR-8129, was stolen when the owner was carjacked in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven, 250 S. Easton Road, at 12:08 a.m. Aug. 31, police said. The victim reported three males, described as short and thin, two with guns, exited a silver crossover SUV and took his vehicle, after which both vehicles went south on Easton Road, police said. Investigat­ion ongoing.

WEAPON >> Officers were called at 11:29 a.m. Aug. 31 to Cheltenham Avenue and 19th street, for a report of a male in a vehicle showing a gun to another motorist, police said. Investigat­ion ongoing. THEFTS >> Two unlocked vehicles in the 400 block of Cottman Avenue were entered overnight Aug. 30 and had items taken from them, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole a cartful of flowers at 3:26 p.m. Aug. 31 from Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, police said. THEFT >> A tool box valued at $4,000 was reported stolen from the bed of a truck in the 7600 block of Washington Lane at 4:16 p.m. Aug. 31, police said.

ID THEFT >> A resident reported Aug. 31 an attempt was made to open multiple credit cards in the victim’s name, police said. SHOOTING >> Two males were shot in the parking lot of the Towers at Wyncote in the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike at 2:21 a.m. Sept. 1, police said. One was shot in the side and the other in the hand, police said.

THEFT >> Items were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight Sept. 1 in the 7700 block of Wager Way, police said. THEFT >> A vehicle parked at Lynnewood Gardens was broken into overnight Aug. 31 and items taken from it, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Sept. 1 a check was stolen and the informatio­n changed on it, police said. WARRANT >> Christophe­r Berry, 28, of the 4200 block of Benning Street, Philadelph­ia, was taken into custody at the police station at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 1 on an outstandin­g warrant, police said. He was charged with aggravated assault, burglary, strangulat­ion, unlawful restraint, simple assault, recklessly endangerin­g another person and criminal mischief in connection with an April 9 incident, online court records show.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Sept. 2 a check was stolen and rewritten for an amount that was not the original, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Sept. 2 a check placed in the mailbox at the Elkins Park Post Office was later forged by an unknown person, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Sept. 2 the victim’s computer was hacked and their Discover Card was accessed and several purchases were made on it, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 34-year-old man of the 1100 block of Oak Leaf Lane, Warminster, was charged with receiving stolen property; and a 44-year-old man of the 7900 block of Cedarbrook Avenue, Philadelph­ia, was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and recklessly endangerin­g another person, online court records show. The two allegedly stole $391 in goods from Old Navy, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., at 3:46 p.m. Sept. 2, police said. FRAUD >> A resident reported Sept. 2 a check written to Xfinity was stolen, altered and endorsed for a different amount by an unknown person at an unknown bank location, police said.

WARRANT >> Demetrius Jones, 30, of the 2200 block of Tioga Street, Philadelph­ia, was arrested by Philadelph­ia Police and transporte­d to Cheltenham on a Cheltenham warrant at 5:05 a.m. Sept. 3, police said. Jones, who randomly assaulted an employee at Midas Muffler June 2, was charged with simple assault, recklessly endangerin­g another person, terroristi­c threats, harassment and disorderly conduct, police said.

THEFT >> Cash, credit cards and ID we reported stolen at 3:47 p.m. Sept. 4 from an unlocked vehicle at Tookany Creek Parkway and Central Avenue, police said. ASSAULT >> A female reported at 9:33 p.m. Sept. 4 that an occupied auto with a possibly known person in the front passenger seat fired four shots while leaning out the window toward her vehicle at Cheltenham Avenue and School Lane, police said.

THREAT >> A female reported at 9:39 p.m. Sept. 4 that an armed older male in a gray shirt threatened her with a gun in the 900 block of Valley Road, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> Wawa, 82 Limekiln Pike, reported at 11:47 p.m. Sept. 4 that seven juveniles were inside the store and a couple of them took an unknown number of goods, police said.

SHOTS FIRED >> Nine 9mm shell casings were recovered by police from the driveway of a home in the 8300 block of Jenkintown Road at 10:36 a.m. Sept. 5, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> A Black male, early 30s, thin, wearing a white Tshirt, blue jeans, black sneakers and carrying a black backpack, attempted to enter a locked vehicle in the 400 block of Crest Avenue at 11:11 a.m. Sept. 5, police said. Another locked vehicle on the block reportedly had miscellane­ous papers removed from it, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Sept. 8 a check for $7,450 he mailed in a mailbox was stolen and endorsed to an unknown person at an unknown bank location, police said. RAPE >> A Cheltenham High School student reported 12:46 p.m. Sept. 8 being raped by another student at a location off the school property, police said. An investigat­ion is ongoing, police said.

THEFT >> A purse containing an iPhone 11, four credit cards, $400 cash and other cards/paperwork, was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at HMart, 7300 Old York Road, at 7:14 p.m. Sept. 8, police aid.

THEFTS >> Two vehicles in the 7800 block of Montgomery Avenue were found at 7:56 p.m. Sept. 8 with their windows smashed out and a pair of blue jeans taken from one and a wallet with debit/ credit cards, car keys and house keys taken from the other, police said.

THEFT >> The owner of a vehicle in the 400 block of West Laurel Avenue reported at 11 a.m. Sept. 9 that four wheels were stolen off the vehicle, police said.
