A brief history of the MAGA phrase

-

Historically, the phrase “make America great again” was used rhetorically to appeal to our better angels. It was used by Republicans and Democrats alike. It’s not the property of anybody— neither the 45th or 46th President. There are no Ultra MAGAs. Now the term has been turned into a sort of expletive “MAGA you!” by the progressive propagandist and ignorant politicians.

Everyday Americans are victims in this war on free speech. We are robbed of the means to proclaim our belief in America. Our children are robbed of the rich history of the journey to freedom. With these woke revisions to the American creed, future generations will never know the promise of liberty. They will be forever trapped in the hopeless, grey totalitarian doublespeak of 1984.

We are inundated on a daily basis by the progressive propagandists and repeatedly lied to by ignorant media and elitist politicians. They want to shame your patriotism, shame your belief in civic duty, shame you for being an American, shame you into turning against the very spirit that allows you and your children to be free.

The elitist Democrats see elections as the means for them to control your future. Republicans see elections as the means for you to control your future. Be proudly American, be proud of all the people who struggled against adversity for decades to establish and preserve our Federal Republic. Join the Upper Gwynedd Republican team. With your help generations to come will harvest fruits from the liberty tree planted centuries ago. Tom Borneman Lansdale
