THEFT >> An employee at Giant, 2350 Susquehann­a Road, was reported Sept. 22 to have stolen $469 worth of gas rewards points and then vandalizin­g another employee’s vehicle after being confronted for the theft, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Sept. 22 falling victim to a PECO scam, but realizing it was a scam before sustaining any financial loss, police said. THEFT >> A vehicle parked at Step Up Academy, 520 Meetinghou­se Road, was found at 4:31 p.m. Sept. 22 with a window broken out and a purse stolen from inside, police said.

THEFT >> Three vehicles parked in the 1200 block of Greenwood Avenue were found between 4:52 p.m. and 5:17 p.m. Sept. 22 with a window broken out and some items stolen from inside, police said.

THEFT >> A vehicle parked at Alverthorp­e Park, 800 Fox Chase Road, was found at 5:59 p.m. Sept. 22 with a window broken out and a purse inside taken, police said. The victim later discovered her credit cards were used to make fraudulent purchases, police said.

THEFT >> A male sitting on a bench at the Willow Grove Park Mall, 2500 Moreland Road, reported at 7:16 p.m. Sept.22 he was ordered to empty his pockets and open his backpack by three males, who took several personal items without force, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole $368 worth of goods from Macy’s, 2500 Moreland Road, at 7:32 p.m. Sept. 22 and fled, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Sept. 23 two weeks after falling victim to a Comcast scam, the victim discovered two checks were written and drawn from the victim’s account, police said. THEFT >> A female reported at 4:48 p.m. Sept. 23 that her cellphone was stole while she shopped at Target, 1495 Old York Road, police said. THEFT >> A vehicle parked at Lorimer Park, 183 Moredon Road, was found at 6:17 p.m. Sept. 23 with a window broken and items missing, police said. The victim later discovered her credit cards had been fraudulent­ly used, police said.

BLACKMAIL >> A resident reported sending inappropri­ate images to someone he communicat­ed with online who subsequent­ly told him he had to pay to not have the images sent to all his contacts, police said. The victim complied but is still receiving demands for money, police said. GUNSHOTS >> Officers responded at 8:12 p.m. Sept. 23 to the 1600 block of Franklin Avenue to several calls of shots being fired, police said. No evidence of gunshots was located, but a witness later confirmed shots were fired but had not been directed at anyone, police said.

THEFT >> A customer at Ross Dress for Less, 911 Old York Road, reported at 10:10 a.m. Sept. 24 her cellphone was stolen, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male and female worked together to steal more than $800 worth of goods from CVS, 835 Old York Road, at 11:13 p.m. Sept. 24 and fled, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Sept. 25 checks written to pay bills and mailed were altered and cashed by an unknown person, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole $25 worth of goods at Aldi, 1955 Davisville Road, at 12:24 p.m. Sept. 25 and fled, police said.

BURGLARY >> A residence in the 500 block of Tennis Avenue was found burglarize­d at 1:33 p.m. Sept. 25, police said. There was no sign of force, but several items were stolen, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Victoria Secret, 2500 Moreland Road, reported at 12:57 p.m. Sept. 25 discoverin­g $3,000 worth of goods was stolen from the back of the store, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Sept. 25 that checks she mailed at the Abington Post Office were later altered and cashed, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole $575 worth of goods from Target, 1495 Old York Road at 5:41 p.m. Sept. 25, police aid.

THEFT >> A female customer consumed $59 worth of food and beverage at Crafty Crab, 1482 Old York Road, and left without paying at 3:59 p.m. Sept. 26, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A vehicle was reported stolen from the 200 block of Susan Driver overnight Sept. 26, police said. THEFT >> A vendor at the Willow Grove Mall reported at 12:54 p.m. Sept. 27 after handing a customer a cellphone on which he had repaired a cracked screen, the customer threw money, which turned out to be fake, on the counter and fled with the phone, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A female was taken into custody at 1:20 p.m. Sept. 27 after stealing items from Rite-Aid, 805 Huntingdon Pike, and fleeing, resisting arrest and fighting a Rockledge police officer and a good Samaritan, police said. The officer and Samaritan sustained minor injuries, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> Two females who stole $757 worth of goods from Acme, 323 Old York Road, at 2:03 p.m. Sept. 27 were found and arrested, police said. ROBBERY >> A juvenile reported at 3:50 p.m. Sept. 27 being approached by an 18-year-old and several juveniles who assaulted him and took his belongings, police said. The 18-year-old was arrested, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A female who stole $94 worth of goods from Nordstrom Rack at the Willow Grove Park Mall at 12:20 p.m. Sept. 28 was arrested, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A female who stole $85 worth of goods from CVS, 835 Old York Road, at 12:48 p.m. Sept. 28 and left was located and arrested, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male who stole $845 worth of goods from Target, 1495 Old York Road, was taken into custody at 7:34 p.m. Sept. 28 when he was stopped for crossing Old York Road and almost causing an accident, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported $700 in fraudulent charges were made to the victim’s credit cards, police said.

DUI >> A 20-year-old male of Old York Road, Jenkintown, was charged with driving under the influence Sept. 19 following a stop on Moreland Road, police said.

ASSAULT >> Priscilla Torres, 47, of North Franklin Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged Sept. 27 with aggravated assault, simple assault, retail theft, receiving stolen property and resisting arrest in the 800 block of Huntingdon Pike, police said.

DUI >> A 45-year-old man of Kelly Lane, Glenside, was charged with driving under the influence following an Aug. 25 stop at Kelly Lane and Tague Avenue, police said.

BURGLARY >> The Pizza Box in the unit block of Limekiln Pike was burglarize­d overnight Sept. 30, police said. A window was found broken and the cash register drawer was found open, with the cash taken, police said. Investigat­ion ongoing.

BURGLARY >> A residence in the 300 block of Oak Road was reported burglarize­d between 5:30 and 8 p.m. Oct. 2 and credit cards, a driver’s license and health card were taken, police said.

BAD CHECKS >> Tri State Design in the 7400 block of Old York Road reported Oct. 3 two checks were stolen and altered, one for $4,910, police said. PLATE STOLEN >> A USPS license plate was reported stolen at 10:10 a.m. Oct. 3 at the Glenside Post Office, 262 Easton Road, police said.

THEFT >> A catalytic converter was reported stolen at 1:32 p.m. Oct. 3 from a vehicle at Lucky Automotive in the 1600 block of West Cheltenham Avenue, police said.

THEFT >> A resident of Massey Way reported Oct. 3 items valued at $4,800 have been missing since Sept. 12 from the victim’s vehicle, which was damaged from the theft, police said. THEFT >> A resident of the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike reported at 5:24 p.m. Oct. 3 his Apple iPod, hoodie and backpack were stolen, police said. WARRANT >> Walter Johnson, 33, of the 6700 block of Glenlock Street, Philadelph­ia, was taken into custody on a Cheltenham warrant at 10 a.m. Oct. 4 at the Cheltenham police station, police said. Johnson was wanted for multiple thefts from autos, police said. He was charged with multiple counts of access device fraud, identity theft, theft, fleeing police, receiving stolen property, theft from a motor vehicle, criminal mischief and related charges stemming from Dec. 30, 2021 incidents, online court records show. He was arraigned Oct. 5 and taken to Montgomery County Prison after failing to post bail reduced to $10,077. THEFT >> A catalytic converter was reported stolen at 2:52 p.m. Oct. 4 from a vehicle parked at Cheltenham High School, 500 Rices Mill Road, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A 2013 black Hyundai Sonata, PA tag KVG0085, was reported stolen at 7:36 p.m. Oct. 4 from the 800 block of Stratford Avenue, police said.

SCAM >> Officers were dispatched at 9:23 p.m. Oct. 4 to a report of a phone scam, police said.

THEFT >> Wawa, 8250 Limekiln Pike, reported at 8:22 a.m. Oct. 5 that a group of teens were stealing merchandis­e, but they were gone upon police arrival, police said.

THEFT >> A 2022 Yamaha MT-07NL 689cc vehicle was reported stolen at 4:04 p.m. Oct. 5 from the Towers at Wyncote in the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole baby items and toilet paper, valued at $70, at Walgreens, 2727 Cheltenham Ave., at 5 p.m. Oct. 5 and fled on foot, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Stephanie WatersSing­leton, 60, of the 100 block of West Maheim Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged with retail theft after taking items at Old Navy, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., at 7:19 p.m. Oct. 5, police said. She also had a warrant from West Norriton police said. GUNSHOTS >> Officers responded at 8:04 p.m. Oct. 5 for reports of gunshots in the 100 block of Dewey Road and found approximat­ely 11 shell casings outside a home in the street, police said. It was determined to be from a drive-by shooting in which no one was found injured and no property was damaged, police said. Investigat­ion ongoing.

THEFT >> A woman shopping at Shop Rite, 2471 Cheltenham Ave., reported at 2:59 p.m. Oct. 6 an unknown male grabbed her purse and fled in a silver Nissan Murano, police said.

THEFT >> A phone was reported stolen at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 from a vehicle at Save-A-Lot, 101 W. Cheltenham Ave., police said.

BURGLARY >> A burglary was reported at the Ways Restaurant, 11 S. Easton Road, at 5:03 a.m. Oct. 7, police said. Investigat­ion ongoing.

AUTO DAMAGED >> A black 2022 Honda CRV was found Oct. 7 to have large scratches on the driver’s side rear panel, police said. The damage is believed to have occurred overnight while it was parked in a parking garage in the 7900 block of Old York Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A Black male, 5 feet 9 inches, wearing all black clothing took items from Walgreens, 2727 Cheltenham Ave., at 9:48 p.m. Oct. 7 and fled toward the bus loop, police said.

ID THEFT >> A resident reported Oct. 8 being notified that an unknown person attempted to open a credit card in the victim’s name, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A white 2018 Chevy Equinox was stolen between Oct. 6 and 7:32 p.m. Oct. 8 from Lynnewood Gardens, police said. The vehicle was recovered at 10:27 a.m. Oct. 9 at the Melrose Train Station, 1961 Cheltenham Ave., police said.

THEFT >> A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of Valley Road overnight Oct. 8, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A Mazda CX9 was reported stolen by someone using the key while the owner was at Planet Fitness, 1000 S. Easton Road, at 5:50 p.m. Oct. 9, police said. The vehicle was tracked and recovered in Philadelph­ia, police said.

DUI >> A 68-year-old Philadelph­ia man was charged Sept. 28 with driving under the influence following a Sept. 15 traffic stop, online court records show.
