He was taken to Montgomery County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 68-yearold man of the 300 block of East Tulpehocke­n Avenue, Philadelph­ia, was charged with retail theft after taking items from Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, at 2:35 p.m. Oct. 10, police said.

THEFT >> A resident of the 7500 block of Brookfield Road reported at 6:34 p.m. Oct. 10 an unknown person entered the driveway and cut a piece off the front bumper of the victim’s vehicle, police said.

TAG STOLEN >> A PA tag, LLK 3203, was reported stolen at 10:20 a.m. Oct. 11 from a vehicle parked at the Towers of Wyncote, police said. THREATS >> Police are investigat­ing a threat reported at 10:35 a.m. Oct. 11 at Cedarbrook Middle School, 300 Longfellow Road, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Oct. 11 a check the victim placed in the mail was changed, police said. THEFT >> A catalytic converter was reported stolen at 12:40 p.m. Oct. 11 from a vehicle in the 400 block of Laverock Road, police said. ASSAULT >> Two Chinese nationals, Wuchen Lin, 19, and Fei Chen, 18, who are in the U.S. to study, were arrested Oct. 21 and charged with aggravated and simple assault and related charges after allegedly assaulting another student at the Towers of Wyncote in the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike at 11:31 p.m. Oct. 11, police said. The victim was treated at the hospital and released, police said.

AUTO THEFT >> A 2021 red Chevrolet Spark, DE tag 190360, with a purse and cellphone inside, was reported stolen at 8:21 p.m. Oct. 12 from the 1900 block of Cheltenham Avenue, police said.

Multiple TVs, valued at $1,600, a computer and monitor valued at $2,600, Gucci handbags valued at $5,600, an LV handbag valued at $1,600 and clothes valued at $160 were taken, police said.
