WEAPONS CHARGES >> Desmond Williams, 25, of Crittenden Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged with felony counts of possession of a firearm without a license and prohibited possession of a firearm Feb. 4 in the 1400 block of Old York Road, police said. ASSAULT >> Matthew Downs, 41, of Nolen Road, Abington, was charged Feb. 2 with aggravated assault, simple assault, indecent assault, resisting arrest, public drunkennes­s and harassment in connection with an incident in the 2300 block of Susquehann­a Road, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> A 20-yearold male of Wynnwood Road, Abington, was charged Feb. 8 with retail theft and receiving stolen property in the 2400 block of Moreland Road, police said.

DUI >> A 34-year-old male of Knorr Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged Feb. 3 with driving under the influence following a stop in the 1200 block of Greenwood Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 21-yearold male of 17th Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged Feb. 1 with retail theft and receiving stolen property in the 2500 block of Moreland Road, police said. ASSAULT >> A 51-year-old male of Sylvania Avenue, Glenside, was charged Feb. 7 with simple assault and harassment in the 500 block of Sylvania Avenue, police said. BURGLARY >> A male was arrested at 12:15 p.m. Feb. 14 after officers responded to a burglary at a home in the 1800 block of Guernsey Avenue found ransacked with the front door glass broken, police said. The suspect, who was found in possession of cash, items from the burglarize­d home and tools commonly used for burglaries, was taken into custody after he ran out the back door of the home, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> An employee at Burlington Coat Factory, 323 Old York Road, was charged with theft Feb. 14 after she under rang items on Jan. 30 and 31 for a total theft of $3,159.42, police said. The suspect told police a female had offered her $500 to under ring clothing on those two dates, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole $200 worth of goods from the Acme, 323 Old York Road, at 2:54 p.m. Feb. 14, police said.

WEAPONS CHARGES >> A male was taken into custody on weapons charges following a traffic stop for multiple violations at 3:12 p.m. Feb. 14 at Old York Road and Wheatsheaf Lane, police said. The male, who did not have a permit to carry a gun and was ineligible to obtain one, was found in possession of two handguns, one with an obliterate­d serial number, one fully loaded, three magazines and multiple loose rounds, police said.

THEFT >> A $350 smoker was stolen overnight Feb. 14 from the courtyard of the Berrell Avenue Apartments in the 1800 block of Davisville Road, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> A female stole underwear, sweat suits and bras, valued at $1,000, from Victoria’s Secret at the Willow Grove Park Mall at 2:55 p.m. Feb. 15 and was observed on security footage meeting two other females and leaving the mall, police said.

ASSAULT >> A female patient at Abington Jefferson Hospital, 1200 Old York Road, who punched a nurse manager and security guard when she attempted to leave without being discharged at 3:20 p.m. Feb. 15, will be charged with assault, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male who stole $328.57 worth of goods from Target, 1495 Old York Road, was taken into custody when the vehicle he was riding in was pulled over by police at 6:51 p.m. Feb. 15 in the Wawa parking lot, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male who attempted to steal $578 in goods from Macy’s at the Willow Grove Park Mall was taken into custody at 1:37 p.m. Feb. 16 when he attempted to leave the store, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT >> An attempt was made to break into a vehicle found with the lock broken in the 200 block of Ray Street between 3 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. Feb. 16, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male stole $400 worth of goods from the Acme, 323 Old York Road, at 11:53 a.m. Feb. 17 and left in a waiting vehicle occupied by another male and a female, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> A male was charged with retail theft and weapons offenses after he and another male stole $709.50 worth of men’s clothing from Macy’s in the Willow Grove Park Mall at 1:40 p.m. Feb. 17, police said. After the getaway vehicle was stopped on Easton Road, the male ran and was later taken into custody on Moreland Road, where a loaded 9mm handgun with extended magazine was found in bushes by a building from which the suspect had just walked away, police said.

WEAPONS OFFENSE >> A female was charged with a weapons violation following a traffic stop at 9:11 p.m. Feb. 17 at Huntingdon Pike and Shady Lane, police said. A loaded handgun, for which she did not have a permit, was found in her pocket, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> A female stole 55 fragrances, valued at $2,204, from Sephora in the Willow Grove Park Mall Feb. 17, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A male and female were taken into custody after stealing bottles of fragrances, valued at $165, from Macy’s in the Willow Grove Park Mall at 3:43 p.m. Feb. 18, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> A female was taken into custody at 5:55 p.m. Feb. 18 after attempting to steal $242 worth of goods from Target, 1495 Old York Road, police said.

THEFT >> A 29-inch, black Flexor bicycle, with a yellow sticker on the front with the $198 price, was reported stolen at 8:51 a.m. Feb. 20 from the unit block of South Avenue, police said. FRAUD >> A resident reported Feb. 20 unauthoriz­ed charges of $200 on the victim’s credit card, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Items estimated at $75 were reported stolen by a male at 9:49 p.m. Feb. 20 at Walgreens, 2727 W. Cheltenham Ave., police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported Feb. 21 unauthoriz­ed access to the victim’s bank account, police said.

THEFT >> A Cheltenham High School student reported at 5:35 p.m. Feb. 21, $1,500 cash was stolen from the victim’s coat pocket during practice at the 500 Rices Mill Road school, police said.

ARREST >> A 39-year-old male of the 200 block of Holly Court, Bensalem, was arrested at 9:21 a.m. Feb. 22 in the 8100 block of New Second Street, where he was knocking on the door of a place at which he was not permitted, and charged with contempt for violation of an order, police said. FRAUD >> A resident reported Feb. 22 two checks totaling $1,000 were cashed on the victim’s account and $1,500 worth of unauthoriz­ed charges were made on the victim’s debit card, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 43-yearold male of the 1600 block of Roumfort Road, Philadelph­ia, was charged with retail theft after taking $61 worth of goods from Fresh Grocer, 1000 Easton Road, at 11 a.m. Feb. 22, police said. ASSAULT >> An investigat­ion is ongoing of a male punched in the face by another male at 1:49 p.m. Feb. 22 at Walmart, 1000 Easton Road, police said.

THEFT >> Building materials valued at $600 were reported stolen at 2:31 p.m. Feb. 22 from the 1000 block of Miles Court, police said. FRAUD >> A resident reported Feb. 22 receiving a notice from a bill collector for a Verizon Wireless account the victim did not open, police said.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF >> The tires of a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Easton Road were slashed by a male at 4:15 p.m. Feb. 22, police said.

BREAK-IN >> A garage in the 7700 block of Washington Lane was found broken into at 11:40 a.m. Feb. 23, but nothing appeared to be missing, police said. THEFT >> A birth certificat­e and Social Security card were reported stolen Feb. 23 from a residence in the 8100 block of New Second Street, police said.

ROAD RAGE >> A motorist reported another motorist, described as a light-skinned Black male, about 6 feet tall, driving a navy-blue Acura last seen southbound on Mount Airy Avenue, pulled a handgun on the victim following a road rage incident at 4:13 p.m. Feb. 23 at Cheltenham and Ogontz avenues, police said.

THEFT >> Headphones were reported stolen at 12:27 p.m. Feb. 24 from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of West Cheltenham Avenue, police said.

THEFT >> Five vehicles in the 7900 block of Old York Road were found ransacked, with windows smashed, at 9:50 a.m. Feb. 25, police said. THEFT >> A FedEx package containing a pair of sneakers valued at $60 was stolen from the porch of a home in the 500 block of Crest Avenue at 12:33 p.m. Feb. 25 by a thin, Black male wearing dark pants and a black hoodie, possibly with an Under Armour logo, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 36-yearold woman of the 1200 block of Stirling Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property at 9:57 p.m. Feb. 25 after taking $494 worth of goods from Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Two males stole $700 worth of goods at 2:07 p.m. Feb. 26 from a store at 1000 S. Easton Road, police said.

BURGLARY >> An employee opening the Sunoco gas station in the 300 block of Easton Road at 6 a.m. March 22 discovered $5,500 worth of cigarettes and $1,000 to $1,200 in cash were missing, police said.
