LIBERTY - William George Weston, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2023, following a brief illness. He was the son of the late William and Ida Weston.

After graduating from High School, Bill enlisted in the United States Army he served proudly until his honorable discharge.

After working many years for his Uncle George Asthalter, Bill went on to become a successful entreprene­ur with many business endeavors in his lifetime, including the O&W Station Tavern, Rosch and Weston Contractin­g, both with the late trusted friend and associate, Robert Rosch.

Bill was a passionate outdoorsma­n and fisherman. When not at work, he enjoyed saltwater fishing with his best buddies at Southampto­n, Montauk, Jersey Shore and Key West. He was happiest when he was clamming with his nephew Kurt Dosch of Southampto­n.

William is survived by siblings, Brother, Robert Weston and nieces, Jessica Lynn Weston, Jennifer Frahm, nephew Robert Weston, sister, Susan Grady and Martin Grady, nephews; Gavin Grady and Collin Grady, sister and husband, Anne and Frank Dosch, niece, April Dosch and nephew Kurt Dosch.

Billy, was an honest man with a heart of gold. He leaves us with of legacy of loyal relationsh­ips, friendship­s and memories which are ever lasting. A “Celebratio­n” of Billy’s life will be held at The Inn at White Sulphur Springs on January 6, 2024. Hours are from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Please bring your favorite “Billy Weston” story to share.
