Vote: Varsity 845 boys basketball players of the week

Online voting for the Varsity 845 boys basketball player of the week for February 5-11 is now open. Go to RecordOnli­ne.com/sports and vote as often as you like until 10 p.m. on Saturday, February 17 (no computer bot voting, please).

Nomination­s are pulled from reports to Varsity 845 and other sources. Players from Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties are eligible. One player per school is permitted during each week.

With 15 candidates this week, we decided to split the vote into large and small schools.

He scored 15 points in the Tigers' 8266 loss to Green Tech on Feb. 8. He had 14 points in a 63-61 win over MonroeWood­bury on Feb. 5.

Christian Brown, Monticello

He scored 20 points to lead the Panthers to a 49-25 win over Goshen on Feb. 8. He had 15 points in a 56-43 win over Minisink on Feb. 6.

Jack Demetriow, Cornwall

He scored 19 points in the Dragons' 58-53 setback to Minisink Valley on Feb. 9.

Christophe­r DeNatale, Marlboro

He scored 15 points as the Dukes beat O'Neill 57-37 on Feb. 10. A night earlier, he scored 13 points in a 63-59 win over Red Hook.

Nick Sanchez, Monroe-Woodbury

He scored 16 points as the Crusaders fell to Green Tech 74-50 on Feb. 10.

Aiden Sullivan, Washington­ville

He scored 21 points in the Wizards' 55-47 win over Goshen on Feb. 6.

Dylan Williams, Minisink Valley

He scored 23 points and added four rebounds, four steals and three assists in the Warriors' 58-53 win over Cornwall
