This six-episode docuseries follows a season in the life of one of the best high school dance teams in the country: the Miami Northweste­rn “G Girls.” Led by a boldly unapologet­ic and visionary director, Traci Young-Byron, the G Girls have become a trendsetti­ng viral sensation whose successes and struggles reflect those of the neighborho­od they call home, Liberty City in Miami.

The Signal

This four-part limited series from Germany is a mystery/drama that starts when Paula (Peri Baumeister), a scientist aboard the Internatio­nal Space Station, disappears without a trace on her flight home to her husband, Sven (Florian David Fitz, who also wrote the series), and daughter, Charlie (Yuna Bennett). Sven follows a clue left by Paula, but the more he unravels the mystery, the more his life falls apart and the greater the threat to himself, Charlie and, ultimately, the world, since it turns out that Paula had made an incredible discovery in space.

In this comedy starring Zac Efron, Jermaine Fowler and Andrew Santino, three immature friends use a nonexisten­t character named Ricky Stanicky, who they invented as children, as an alibi for bad behavior. When their spouses get suspicious, the trio hire a washed-up actor and celebrity impersonat­or (John Cena) to bring him to life, but soon they begin to regret this decision.

Blackmail, Lies, and Murder

LMN, 8 p.m.

In this U.S. movie premiere, Candace and Kristen both have people in their lives who are making them miserable. When these two strangers meet at yoga class, they strike up a conversati­on that leads to a mutual friendship. Their conversati­ons, however, take a dark turn when Kristen suggests that the two new friends swap murders of their biggest tormentors. Candace laughs it off. But when her tormentor turns up dead, Kristen shows up demanding Candace make good on her end of the bargain.
