Elizabeth Theresa Moglia, 85 a former resident of New Windsor, NY entered into rest on March 14, 2024.

Fondly known as Betty, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Josephine (DiPaolo) Inglima.

Betty was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Newburgh with her family when she was a child. Betty attended Newburgh schools, where she met her husband, Dominick Moglia Sr. Together, they owned House of Kitchens and had 2 sons. Betty was the bookkeeper for their business and in her spare time, she loved to entertain family and friends in her home and was an exceptiona­l cook and baker. Many family celebratio­ns included a beautifull­y decorated cake that Betty made from scratch. Betty then went on to lovingly raise her 2 grandsons, with whom she remained very close.

Betty is survived by her sisters: Phyllis & spouse Thomas Lake of Wappingers Falls, NY and Barbara & spouse Phil Rounds of Marlboro, NY; daughter in law: Cathy & spouse John Lorgan of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchild­ren: Dominick III and spouse Kimberly Moglia of Walden, NY, Michael & spouse Valerie Moglia of Clintondal­e, NY and Gabrielle Moglia of Conway, SC; great-granddaugh­ters: Kali and Gracie; and many nieces and nephews dear to her heart.

Betty was predecease­d by her husband Dominick Sr.; sons Andrew and Dominick Jr.; daughter in law Jill; and sister Rosemarie Iuzzini-Lionato.

Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 4 pm on March 24, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, NY 12550. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am on March 25, 2024 at Sacred Heart Church, 301 Ann Street, Newburgh, NY 12550, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
