Touro to host integrative medicine symposium on Jan. 12
Touro University California’s (TUC’s) Integrative Medicine Symposium will be held on Jan. 12, where experts from around the United States will share evidence-based complementary and integrative approaches to healthcare. The day will include workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
This event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lander Hall, 105 Price Way, on Mare Island in Vallejo.
Integrative Medicine is a healing approach that considers the physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual and environmental influences on one’s health. TUC seeks to increase knowledge and equip clinicians with the tools and strategies to more effectively incorporate this approach into their daily practice. Community members will learn holistic practices they can incorporate into their routines to lead more engaged, energized and balanced lives.
There is still time to register and for students and community members, registration is only $30. For physician and other healthcare providers interested in CME credits, there is a $150 registration fee.
