Williams announces receiving several notable endorsements
K. Patrice Williams, a candidate for the District 2 seat on the Solano County Board of Supervisors, announced that her campaign has picked up a number of endorsements from local leaders.
Those endorsements include Assemblyman Tim Grayson, D-Concord, Assemblyman Jim Frazier, D-Fairfield, and Assemblywoman Rebecca Bauer— Kahan, D-Orinda.
Williams, who runs BrandGOV, a community outreach firm, also received endorsements from former Vallejo Mayor Osby Davis, Benicia Vice Mayor Christina Strawbridge, Solano County Supervisor Erin Hannigan, Suisun City Mayor Lori Wilson, and Solano County Board of Education trustees Dana Dean, Elease Cheek, and Peggy CohenThompson.
She also reported endorsements from Solano Community College Governing Board trustees A. Marie Young and Rosemary Thurston, as well as from Benicia Councilman Lionel Largaespada, Vallejo councilmembers Pippin Dew, Rozzana Verder-Aliga, Suisun City Counciwoman Wanda Williams, Vacaville Councilman Nolan Sullivan and former Vallejo councilmember Jess Malgapo.
Finally, the campaign said it received the endorsements from Benicia Unified School District trustees Diane Ferrucci, Gethsemane Moss, Vallejo City Unified School District trustees Ralph Tony Gross, and Tony Ubalde Jr., Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District trustees David Isom, and John Silva, and Vacaville Unified School District Trustee Mike Silva.
Williams is seeking to unseat Solano County Supervisor Monica Brown, who represents District 2, which includes the city of Benicia, portions of Fairfield, Mare Island, and all of Vallejo located south of Georgia Street.
Businesswoman Rochelle Sherlock is also vying for the seat.
The primary is March 3.
