Han­ni­gan and Wil­liams re­port ad­di­tional fund­ing

With just a few weeks re­main­ing be­fore the March 3 Pres­i­den­tial Pri­mary elec­tion, a pair of can­di­dates have con­tin­ued to re­ceive cam­paign con­tri­bu­tions, re­ports to the Solano County Regis­trar of Vot­ers show.

Solano County Su­per­vi­sor Erin Han­ni­gan re­ported two sep­a­rate $1,000 cash con­tri­bu­tions to her re-elec­tion cam­paign from the Dis­trict Coun­cil of Iron Work­ers Po­lit­i­cal Ac­tion Com­mit­tee (PAC) Small Con­trib­u­tor Com­mit­tee, and the Teamsters Joint Coun­cil No. 7 — DRIVE Com­mit­tee, re­spec­tively.

Fel­low can­di­date K. Pa­trice Wil­liams re­ported that her cam­paign re­ceived a $1,000 con­tri­bu­tion from the Napa-Solano Coun­ties Cen­tral La­bor Coun­cil on Feb. 7, sim­i­lar records show.

Wil­liams is seek­ing to rep­re­sent Dis­trict 2, which in­cludes the city of Beni­cia, por­tions of Fair­field, Mare Is­land, and all of Vallejo lo­cated south of Ge­or­gia Street. Cur­rent Solano County Su­per­vi­sor for Dis­trict 2 Mon­ica Brown, and Rochelle Sher­lock are also seek­ing the seat.

Han­ni­gan was first elected to the Solano County Board of Su­per­vi­sors in 2012. She rep­re­sents Dis­trict 1, which cov­ers all ar­eas of Vallejo north of Ge­or­gia Street. Vallejo City Councilman Robert McCon­nell is chal­leng­ing her for the seat.
