Hannigan and Williams report additional funding
With just a few weeks remaining before the March 3 Presidential Primary election, a pair of candidates have continued to receive campaign contributions, reports to the Solano County Registrar of Voters show.
Solano County Supervisor Erin Hannigan reported two separate $1,000 cash contributions to her re-election campaign from the District Council of Iron Workers Political Action Committee (PAC) Small Contributor Committee, and the Teamsters Joint Council No. 7 — DRIVE Committee, respectively.
Fellow candidate K. Patrice Williams reported that her campaign received a $1,000 contribution from the Napa-Solano Counties Central Labor Council on Feb. 7, similar records show.
Williams is seeking to represent District 2, which includes the city of Benicia, portions of Fairfield, Mare Island, and all of Vallejo located south of Georgia Street. Current Solano County Supervisor for District 2 Monica Brown, and Rochelle Sherlock are also seeking the seat.
Hannigan was first elected to the Solano County Board of Supervisors in 2012. She represents District 1, which covers all areas of Vallejo north of Georgia Street. Vallejo City Councilman Robert McConnell is challenging her for the seat.
