Vet­eran events can­celed due to coron­avirus

Amer­i­can Le­gion Manuel L. Que­zon Post 603 75th An­niver­sary was one of the events

Due to the coron­avirus cri­sis, guide­lines from Solano County Pub­lic Health and the United States of Amer­ica Viet­nam War Com­mem­o­ra­tion, the Amer­i­can Le­gion Manuel L. Que­zon Post 603 75th An­niver­sary cel­e­bra­tion and Na­tional Viet­nam War Vet­er­ans Day com­mem­o­ra­tion sched­uled for March 28 has been can­celed.

Ac­cord­ing to long­time vet­eran ad­vo­cate Nestor Aliga, he al­ready has most of the 100+ per­son­al­ized/by-name cer­tifi­cates, as well as lapel pins, car stick­ers, but­tons, and procla­ma­tions from the for­mer and cur­rent Pres­i­dent of the United States, Barack Obama and Don­ald Trump, re­spec­tively, for our Viet­nam War Vet­er­ans or their next of kin.

Also can­celed is the Wed­nes­day event, Women’s Mil­i­tary His­tory Week and Na­tional Viet­nam War Vet­er­ans Day res­o­lu­tions that was sched­uled for 6 p.m.. The March 24th event that had the Vallejo City Coun­cil adopt­ing the Na­tional Viet­nam War Vet­er­ans Day procla­ma­tion, has also been can­celed.
