Suisun City po­lice seek info about man found dead along harbor shore

Any­one who knew or saw Ter­ra­men Ross, 33, of Bak­ers­field, is asked to call po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tions

Suisun City po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tors seek help from the pub­lic about their dis­cov­ery Sun­day of a 33-year-old Bak­ers­field man’s body along the city’s his­toric harbor shore­line.

In a so­cial me­dia post, in­ves­ti­ga­tors want in­for­ma­tion from any­one who knew or may have seen Ter­ra­men Ross in the area be­fore his death. They are asked to call po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tions at 421-7373.

Ross’ body was found at about 2:20 p.m. Sun­day, when of­fi­cers re­sponded to a ra­dio call of “a body or man­nequin in the wa­ter near the light­house,” ac­cord­ing to word­ing on the post.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors, in­clud­ing Suisun City Fire Chief Justin Vin­cent, found Ross’s body par­tially sub­merged in the wa­ter near the shore­line. Po­lice of­fi­cers se­cured the scene and be­gan a death in­ves­ti­ga­tion. The Solano County Sher­iff’s Of­fice coroner re­sponded and helped with the in­ves­ti­ga­tion. A po­lice de­part­ment spokesper­son ear­lier this week in­di­cated the au­topsy has been com­pleted, with find­ings, in­clud­ing cause of death and a tox­i­col­ogy re­port, likely com­ing within two weeks.
