Dave and Buster’s announces opening date
After more than two years of planning, the new Dave & Buster’s at the Solano Town Center has announced its opening date.
The entertainment chain will be coming to Fairfield May 24, making it the first Dave & Buster’s in Solano County and the 17th in California, according to a news release. The center will operate on 28,000 square feet on the bottom story of the former Sears space.
The release boasts several of the features that patrons can expect at the new Dave & Buster’s, including hundreds of arcade games, a chef-crafted food menu and a sports bar featuring several high-definition TV screens.
“We’re thrilled to open Dave & Buster’s and bring good, clean fun to Fairfield,” General Manager Alex Briones said in a statement. “We’re looking to hire passionate and goal-oriented individuals with ‘work hard and play hard’ mentality and will provide a one-ofa-kind entertainment experience to all of our guests.”
To help facilitate this opening, Dave & Buster’s is seeking to hire 127 employees, including and front and back-of-house managers, servers, bartenders, hosts, line cooks, game technicians and more. According to the release, all interviews will be socially distanced, temperatures will be taken before entering the hiring site, and masks will be required for all applicants.
