Poetry heals

In celebration of National Poetry Month the Solano County Library Foundation will hold an afternoon program of poetry and thought on April 24, 2021 from 1 to 2:15 pm. This will be a virtual event featuring local poets presenting their expressions of hope and encouragement.

Presented by Suzanne Bruce featured poets are Johanna Ely, former Benicia Poet Laureate; Mary Susan Gast, current Benicia Poet Laureate; Dr. Genea Brice, former Vallejo Poet Laureate; and Jeremy Snyder, current Vallejo Poet Laureate.

Tickets are $25, sponsorships are available at various levels. Zoom links will be sent to attendees prior to the program.
