Practices are sold out except one as weather should be ideal

Jul. 27—Here is what you need to know as the 49ers open their 19th training camp at their Santa Clara practice facility:

WHERE: SAP Performanc­e Facility, Santa Clara

WHO: All 90 players are to report Tuesday

TICKETS: Sold out for all 12 open practices at the SAP Performanc­e Facility, starting with Wednesday’s initial session. Tickets are still available for the Aug. 7 practice inside Levi’s Stadium on Dwight Clark Day ($10 fee goes toward the 49ers Foundation).

JOINT PRACTICES: The 49ers will practice against the Los Angeles Chargers on Aug. 19 and 20 at the Chargers’ Costa Mesa facility, ahead of their Aug. 22 exhibition at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. Those practices are expected to be closed to the public. The 49ers held joint practices with the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans in past camps under coach Kyle Shanahan.

COVID SAFETY: It’s believed all 49ers coaches have had the COVID-19 vaccine. The team has yet to announce how many players are inoculated. Players who are not fully vaccinated face daily testing, mask requiremen­ts, quarantine upon high-risk contacts, inability to eat with teammates or gather outside club facilities, as well as travel and weight room restrictio­ns.

EXHIBITION­S: Aug. 14 vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 5:30 p.m.; Aug. 22 at Los Angeles Chargers, 4:30 p.m.; Aug. 29 vs. Raiders, 1 p.m.

REGULAR SEASON OPENER: Sept. 12 at Detroit Lions, 10 a.m. PT.
