Dangerous situation

Now that the pandemic has abated and people are allowed to eat and drink indoors instead of in tents, why is the sidewalk at the Ferry Terminal still barricaded? Surely there is no reason for the public that paid for the sidewalk to be forced to use only half of the sidewalk we built.

This last Saturday with a large group lined up for the ferry, people walking both directions and a few bicyclists trying to fit between them all, it was very congested and a bit dangerous for the pedestrians.
