Sustainable Solano's Bounty of the County events coming soon

The Bounty of the County events — cosponsored by Sustainable Solano and 2022 Solano County Fair — partner to honor local wine, beer and food are coming this month.

On Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. the event will be at Mangels Vineyards in Fairfield. On Sunday, May 22, the event will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Ruhstaller farm in Dixon, while Saturday, June 18 it will be from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Solano County Fair.

All three are open to the public and any proceeds support Sustainable Solano's local food program, which includes free cooking classes and youth cooking programs.

Sustainable Solano is a countywide nonprofit organization dedicated to “Nurturing Initiatives for the Good of the Whole.” The organization brings together programs that support and sustain one another and the Solano County community. Initiatives include sustainable landscaping, local food, resilient neighborhoods, youth leadership, sustaining conversations and community gardens.
