Sunday, the biggest sporting event in America returns as the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs — already the top teams in their respective conferences — meet in Arizona to determine who is the true champion of the 2022 NFL season.

As with past years, there will be plenty of places in Solano County to watch the Super Bowl as well as score some delicacies to enjoy while watching the Big Game. Below is just a partial list.

Vacaville Elks Lodge No. 2638 will have not one, not two but four screens to watch the game. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own dishes to share as well as friends and family. Doors open at noon Sunday at 302 Parker St. For more information, call the lodge at 448-2763.

Following Real Life Church's Sunday service, people are invited to head over to 943 Stillspring Court for the church's annual Super Bowl Party. There will be a chili nacho bar and family-friendly activities, and people can sign up to bring food. Festivities get underway at 3 p.m. To sign up, go to Signupgenius.com/ go/70A0845A8A92EA6F49super2.

Legends at Paradise Valley will have the game available on numerous HD TVs as well as a menu consisting of chicken flautas, chili cheese fries, wings, jalapeño

poppers, chicken taquitos, wedge salad and free nacho bar. This will be preceded by a Legends tailgate party, where attendees can enjoy barbecued chicken, barbecued tri-tip, baked beans, tomato penne pasta, Caesar salad and beer or soda, all at $30 per plate. The tailgate will last from 2 p.m. until the end of the game's first quarter. Doors open at noon at the Legends clubhouse, 3990 Paradise Valley Drive, Fairfield.

Three Restaurant will offer a Football Meal Deal consisting of two Captain America Cheeseburgers, crispy fries and two draft beers for $10 off. In honor of the teams playing, patrons are also encouraged to order a Philly cheesesteak or Kansas City barbecue steak. Three is at 721 W. Texas St., Fairfield.

Even those stationed at Travis Air Force Base will have a place to watch the

Super Bowl. Wingman's Sports Bar will be broadcasting the game and serve appetizers, food and bar specials, a Bloody Mary bar and more, for $5 per person. There will also be a raffle with various prizes. Wingman's is in the Delta Breeze Event Center at 400 Windward Drive. For more information, call 424-0032.

Marina Lounge in Suisun City will show the game on seven TV screens, which should provide adequate viewing for hardcore football fans and casual ad watchers alike. Before that, a brunch will be served at noon, and an after party with Dee Jay Smurph will take place until 8 p.m. There will also be specials on the 49er Gold Rush Hennessy margarita, because while the 49ers may not have made it to the Super Bowl, fans can still celebrate their accomplished season. The Marina Lounge is at 700

Main St.

The Super Bowl is known as a big food “holiday,” and in that sense, Cattlemens in Dixon certainly delivers. The restaurant is offering two meal packages to take home. The first is the BBQ Beef Rib Package with 10 or 20 ribs, and the other is the Bone Fest Value Package with 25 barbecue beef ribs and a choice of wings or artichoke cheese dip. Both packages come with a fresh garden salad and a choice of dressing as well as sourdough bread and butter.

Pre-ordered meals can be picked up Saturday or Sunday starting at 12:15 p.m. Cattlemen's is at 250 Dorset Court, Dixon. For more information, call 678-5518.

Finally, Vallejo's Mare Island Brewing Company will offer specials at all three taprooms. The Ferry Taproom, 289 Mare Island Way, will serve fish and chips, featuring locally caught rock cod dipped in Saginaw Golden Ale beer batter, Old Bay-seasoned steak fries, tartar sauce and malt vinegar. The Coal Shed Brewery at 850 Nimitz Ave. will serve smoked brisket chili and cornbread. The Benicia Taphouse at 440 First St. will have specials on homemade bratwurst and sauerkraut served with Hydraulic Sandwich IPA mustard.

Those who plan to drink alcohol at any events should have a designated driver or use a ridesharing service to get to and from the event.
