EACC announces fall academic lists
East Arkansas Community College has released the academic recognition lists for the fall 2020 academic semester.
Students included on the EACC President’s List have enrolled in at least 12 or more semester hours of coursework and have earned a grade point average of 4.0 in college level courses.
In order to be included on the EACC Dean’s List, a student must have been enrolled in 12 or more semester hours of work and achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 in college level courses.

ASU names students to honors lists
Students on the Chancellor’s and Dean’s Lists for the fall semester of 2020 at Arkansas State University have been announced. The lists recognize undergraduate students who achieved the highest grade point averages while enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours of study.
The Chancellor’s List includes students who earned a grade point average of 4.0 in fall classes. The Dean’s List includes students with a grade point average of 3.6 to 3.99.
Students from St. Francis County who made the Chancellor’s List include: Courtney Bellinger and Zadie Coats, both of Colt; Fiona Franks, Matthew Hill, Bailee Oswalt and Justin Rains, all of Forrest City; Tyler Guthrie and Hunter Hodges of Palestine, and Ashtyn Clifton and Mary Foster of Wheatley.

UCA announces fall scholars
The University of Central Arkansas has announced the Dean's List and Presidential Scholars for the fall 2020 semester.
Recognition on the Dean's List or as a Presidential Scholar is based on grades earned during each semester of the regular academic year.
Eligibility on the Dean's List requires at least a 3.5 GPA with a minimum course load of 12 credit hours. Students must achieve a 4.0 GPA with a minimum course load of 12 credit hours to qualify for recognition as a Presidential Scholar.
Students from this area named as Presidential Scholars are: Gabrielle Murray and Jignesh Patel, both of Forrest City; Derien Fahringer of Colt and Jacob Long of Palestine.

Crippen is fall scholar at Hinds
Courtney Crippen, of Forrest City, has been named a Hinds Community College Deans' Scholar for the Fall 2020 semester.
Deans' Scholars are those students with a cumulative 3.5 to 3.9 grade point average.
ASU announces fall graduates
Arkansas State University has announced the list of students who completed degree requirements to graduate at fall commencement, held in December at Centennial Bank Stadium.
Chancellor Kelly Damphousse presented diplomas at the associate, bachelor, master, specialist and doctoral levels, along with various program certificates, as awarded through the various colleges.
Undergraduates with a 4.0 GPA are designated Summa Cum Laude. Those with a GPA of 3.83.99 are Magna Cum Laude, and those with a GPA of 3.6-3.79 are Cum Laude.

Two from FC earn honors at UALR
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has announced its fall 2020 Chancellor's List, recognizing students with superior academic performance in a semester.
To be eligible for the Chancellor's List, students must earn at least nine credit hours and at least a 3.9 grade point average.
Jasmine Morrow and Jonathan Smith, both of Forrest City, were named to the Fall 2020 Chancellor's List at UALR.
Goodall earns honors at Freed-Hardeman
Freed-Hardeman University Names President's and Dean's Lists Honorees
Freed-Hardeman University has released the names of students who made the President's and Dean's Lists for the fall 2020 semester.
Alexis Goodall, a sophomore special education grades kindergarten to eighth interventionist and communications public relations major from Forrest City, was named to the President's List.
To be on the President's List, a student must be full-time and have a 4.0 grade point average. Students on the Dean's List have earned a minimum 3.4 grade point average for the semester.
OBU announces fall honor students
Ouachita Baptist University has named 396 students to its fall 2020 Dean’s List.
To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must compile at least a 3.5 grade point average and be classified as a full-time student, with a minimum of 12 academic hours and have no incomplete or failing grade for the semester.
Jess Cantrell of Forrest City was named to the Dean’s List.
PCCUA announces Chancellor’s, Dean’s Lists
Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) has announced the Chancellor’s List and Dean’s List for the fall 2020 semester.
Students who demonstrate outstanding academic success at PCCUA are named to the Dean’s List. The Dean’s List requires a minimum 3.50 GPA for 12 or more college level credits.
Hunter Lindsey, of Forrest City, was named to the Dean’s List at PCCUA.
Taylor earns honors at Williams Baptist
Williams Baptist University has released the names of students on the President’s and Dean’s Lists for the 2020 fall semester.
The President’s List includes those full-time students who achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average, while the Dean’s List consists of those with at least a 3.5 GPA.
Hunter Taylor was named to the Dean’s List.
