Shirley Munn Gore (1941-2021)
Mrs. Shirley Munn Gore, age 79, of Palestine, Arkansas, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021. She had been in poor health for the past several months.
Mrs. Gore was born September 11, 1941, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of Robert Munn and Dorothy Lindsey Munn. She lived in St. Francis County all of her life, was a housewife and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Palestine.
Mrs. Gore married Donald Gore in 1959, and he survives her along with two sons; Gary Gore, and wife, Melissa, and Glenn Gore, and wife, Martha, all of Palestine, one daughter, Gale Gore Lawson of Forrest City, one brother, Thomas Munn, and wife, Brenda, of Wynne, one sister, Robin Jumper, and husband, Lavan, of Palestine and four grandchildren; Adam, and wife, Lynlee, Garrett, Graham, and Gabe.
Services for Mrs. Gore will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00 P.M., Saturday, with burial in Bell Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 1:00 P.M., until the time of the service.
