Burlsworth football camps this weekend

-

The Brandon Burlsworth Foundation will hold its inperson football camps Friday, June 4, in Harrison at F.S. Garrison Stadium and in Little Rock on Saturday, June 5, at War Memorial Stadium.

The Brandon Burlsworth Football camps have been held since the year 2000.

The pandemic forced the Foundation to host a weeklong virtual camp in 2020 that had a high viewership rate, but it does not compare to the knowledge campers will gain in-person on the field this year.

Many of Brandon’s teammates and other former Arkansas Razorback players will be providing instruction at both camps in Harrison and Little Rock.

"We look forward to these camps every year,” said Marty Burlsworth, CEO of the foundation and older brother of Brandon Burlsworth. "We are beyond excited to be able to host camp in-person again this year. We’ve waited two years to be back on the field with our campers. A huge thank you must go out to the former Razorback players that make camp possible each year."

Registration is $35 and open to boys and girls entering 3rd grade through 9th grade on the foundation’s website at brandonburlsworth.org. For more information and updates, follow the Brandon Burlsworth Foundation on Facebook.

The Brandon Burlsworth Foundation was founded in 1999 in honor of Brandon who was tragically killed in a car accident 11 days after being drafted by the Indianapolis Colts.

The Foundation honors Brandon’s legacy by helping underprivileged children in need through various programs including the Eyes of a Champion program, Burls Kids, Burlsworth Football Camps and more.
