Charles Edward Cooper (1943-2021)

Charles Edward Cooper passed away at his home in Crump, Tenn., on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021.

Mr. Cooper served in the United States Army in the Korean War. He was a devoted Christian and lived his life for God. He was a huge Elvis fan and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He was very loving and giving of all he had to everyone he came in contact with.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eara Hill Cooper and father, Claude Elmer Cooper, also known as "Hun" by many; his brothers, Lee Cooper, Joe, Billy and Bobbie Espinoza; his sisters, Mary Mangrum and Martha Orr.

He is survived by his sisters, Claudia Golden of Savannah, Tenn., and Claudeen Adrian of Kalamazoo, Mich.; his only daughter, Lynn Mobbs and spouse of Lawrencebu­rg, Tenn.; one granddaugh­ter, Kaitlin Mobbs Scott and her spouse of Lawrencebu­rg, Tenn.; one grandson, Justin Bramel and spouse of Christiana, Tenn., one greatgrand­daughter, Kenzie Bramel of Lewisburg, Tenn; one niece, Lisa Johnston and spouse of Savannah, Tenn., and one nephew, Mac Coleman of San Diego, Calif., along with many nieces and nephews, a longtime friend, Doris Webster of Crump, Tenn., and many other friends.

A visitation for Mr. Cooper will be held Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at 11 a.m., at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at Morgan Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery in Palestine, with Bro. John Johnston officiatin­g.

Morgan Funeral Home of Forrest City is in charge of arrangemen­ts.
