TRUNK OR TREAT: ConnectPoint Church will be holding a drive through Trunkor-Treat event Sunday, Oct. 31 beginning at 6 p.m.
TRICK OR TREATING: A trick or treating event will be held Saturday, Oct. 30, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the JB Fireballers recreation center at 136 W. Broadway in Forrest City. To volunteer or make a donation, contact Coach Jim Bailey at 870-589-0245.
HALLOWEEN EVENT: ConnectPoint Church will host a trunk or treat event Sunday, Oct. 31, beginning at 6 p.m. It will continue until all of the candy is gone. The event will be drivethrough only.
CHICKEN AND DRESSING: The United Methodist Women of the First United Methodist Church in Forrest City are taking orders for chicken and dressing for Thanksgiving. Orders may be placed through Thursday, Oct. 28. Call 870-945-2051, 870-2612915 or 870-261-2553 to place an order.
TRUNK OR TREAT: The Forrest City Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., will host a trunk or treat Sunday, Oct. 31, at 123 Trenton Cove in Forrest City, from 6 to 8 p.m. Goodies will be distributed. Youth of all ages are invited. Drive-through is preferred but walk-ins will be welcome. Masks and social distancing will be enforced.
MAMMOGRAMS: A St. Bernards Mobile Mammography unit will be at the Beth Salem Baptist Church at 835 Garland Ave., in Forrest City on Saturday, Nov. 13, from noon to 6 p.m. For more information, contact Denise Purnell at 870-208-4346.
EXERCISE CLASS: The Forrest City Medical Center Auxiliary holds PACE Exercise Classes at Café 1601 (the cafeteria) at Forrest City Medical Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9 to 10 a.m. The free classes include range of motion, gentle strengthening, balance, weight-bearing and breathing exercises, all performed in standing or seated positions to suit individual needs. Masks will be required for all participants.
NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS: Narcotics Anonymous meetings are held each Wednesday, at 7 p.m., at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, located at 400 Hill Street in Forrest City.
RECOVERY SUPPORT: Celebrate Recovery meets at 7 p.m., each Friday at the First Church of the Nazarene at 132 McCutchen St., in Forrest City. Anyone having problems with addictions, habits or hangups is welcome to join. For more information, contact pastor Lynn Hickman at 501-831-6353.
LITERACY PROJECT: The Eastern Arkansas Literacy Project is offering basic instruction to adults 18 years and older for reading, writing, basic math, computers, financial literacy and English as a second language. FREE MULCH: Free mulch is available on the first Saturday of each month at the Forrest City landfill from 8 a.m. until noon.

WOMEN’S CLOTHES: The clothes closet, sponsored by Women in Transition to Glory Services Inc., is open on the fourth Saturday of each month from 2 to 3 p.m., at 407 Cleveland Street in Forrest City.
