Freddie Ray Hill (1958-2021)

Mr. Freddie Ray Hill, age 63, of Forrest City, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born Jan. 28, 1958, he was the son of Clovis Hill and Catherine Kelso Hill. He was a mechanic and worked for Dearl and Harold Auto Electric.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Chester, Jimmy and Stanley Hill.

Survivors include his significan­t other, Sandra Walraven of the home; three daughters, Angelic Roddy and husband, Chester, of Biscoe, Patricia Padilla of Heber Springs and Christin Walraven of Forrest City; four brothers, Walter Hill, Mike Hill and Harold Barnes, all of Forrest City, and David Hill of Colt; six sisters, Kim Robbins and husband, Joey, of Imboden, Patsy McDonald of Searcy, Mona Kilgore and husband, William, and Brenda Dotson and husband, Bubba, all of Forrest City, Louise Murray and husband, John, of North Carolina and Shirley Hill of Oklahoma; eight grandchild­ren, Austin Pendergras­s, Makayla (and wife Sammie) Greene, Roy Douglas Jr., Ethan Pendergras­s, Logan Pendergras­s, Thaddeus Berkley II, Serenity McGill and Jeffery Sims Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mr. Hill was held Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel in Forrest City.

Services for Mr. Hill were held Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at 2 p.m., at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel in Forrest City with Bro. Gerald Colvin officiatin­g. Burial was in Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City.

Morgan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangemen­ts.
