Lloyd Anthony ‘Rambo’ Renigar (1965-2022)
Lloyd Anthony 'Rambo' Renigar, age 56, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the Baptist Hospital in Heber Springs. His death came suddenly and unexpectedly.
Mr. Renigar was born Dec. 11, 1965, in West Memphis, and was the son of Lloyd Calvin Renigar and Doriss Elaine Stokes Renigar.
He lived in St. Francis County all of his life, retired as chief from the Forrest City Fire Department after 33 years of service, was chief security for the First National Bank of Eastern Arkansas and Food Giant, was a part-time deputy sheriff for the St. Francis County Sheriff's Department, was a member of the St. Francis Search and Rescue, the National Firefighters Association, and a founding member of the Arkansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial Association. He was a member of the Oak Hill Church of God.
Mr. Renigar is survived by one son, Aaron Tyler Renigar and wife, Jodi, of Palestine; one daughter, Lindsay Nichole Hughes and husband, Adam, of Caldwell; one sister, Kathy Renigar Thomas and husband, Lowell, of Wynne; eight grandchildren, Ellie Grace Hughes, Selah Hughes, Brynlie Douglas, Lorelei Renigar, Fallon Renigar, Finley Renigar, Kailey Casey and Sawyer Ramsey; two aunts, Mary Jo McKee and Donna McMillin; one niece,
Andrea Thomas; his father and mother-in-law, Jesse and Eva McCoy of Forrest City, and Crystal Renigar Adams of Texas.
Visitation for Mr. Renigar will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the Oak Hill Church of God.
Services for Mr. Renigar will be held at the Oak Hill Church of God at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2022, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
