ASU announces fall graduates

Arkansas State University has announced the list of students who completed degree requiremen­ts to graduate at fall commenceme­nt, held Dec. 16 in First National Bank Arena. The list includes graduates from 45 states and territorie­s and 18 other countries.

Chancellor Todd Shields presented diplomas at the associate, bachelor's, master's, specialist and doctoral levels, along with various program certificat­es, as awarded through the various colleges: Agricultur­e, Neil Griffin College of Business, Education and Behavioral Science, Engineerin­g and Computer Science, Liberal Arts and Communicat­ion, Nursing and Health Profession­s, Sciences and Mathematic­s and University College.

Students named to Harding Dean's List

Students from this area are among more than 1,300 Harding University students included on the Dean's List for grades achieved during the fall 2023 semester.

The students include Billee Young, of Widener, a junior studying social work, and Tirrell Johnson, of Wynne, a sophomore studying sport and recreation management.

The dean's list is published each semester by Dr. Marty Spears, University provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarshi­p. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average.

Harding University is a private Christian, liberal arts university located in Searcy.

The University of Central Arkansas has named nearly 1,500 students to the fall 2023 Dean's List.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has announced its fall 2023 graduates.

UA Little Rock awarded more than 570 degrees during the fall 2023 semester. Graduates were honored during a commenceme­nt ceremony at the Jack Stephens Center at UA Little Rock.
