Broadway Palm readies shows for the season

Now in its 28th year, Broadway Palm has announced its lineup for the holiday season and the new year. Mama Mia! concludes its run November 14, to be followed by the festive Holiday Inn (November 19–December 26, 2020), based on the 1942 film starring Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. This show will treat the audience to Irving Berlin classics such as “Shaking the Blues Away,” “Blue Skies,” “Easter Parade” and “White Christmas.”

Next on the lineup is Happy Days

(December 31, 2020–February 14, 2021), a musical based on the hit TV series and featuring all the beloved characters— including Richie, Potsie, Ralph Malph and the “King of Cool,” Arthur “The

Fonz” Fonzarelli.

That is to be followed by the upbeat, exhilarating On Your Feet (February 18–

April 10, 2021), based on the true story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan. The show is about heart, heritage and two people who believed in each other. “The musical follows their incredible journey from anonymity in Cuba to stardom in the United States,” says Melissa Vogt, Broadway Palm’s director of sales and marketing. “Hear ‘Rhythm is Gonna Get You,’ ‘Conga,’ ‘Get On
