50th Holiday Bazaar set for St. Benedict’s
RIDGELY — The St. Benedict/ St. Elizabeth Parish’s 50th annual Holiday Bazaar will be held Friday, Nov. 9, and Saturday, Nov, 10, in the parish social hall behind St. Benedict Church, 408 Central Ave., Ridgely.
On Friday evening, Nov. 9, the event will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. A Chesapeake Chicken dinner will be held during Friday’s schedule, with two seatings — 5 to 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets for the dinner are $15 each, and can be purchased by contacting the church office at 410-6342253.
The evening will feature live entertainment and an opportunity to start your Christmas shopping early with a variety of vendors.
On Saturday, Nov. 10, doors will open at 8 a.m. for the annual White Elephant Yard Sale. The day also will include live entertainment, a fresh vegetable sale sponsored by the St. Joan of Arc Council Knights of Columbus, a silent auction featuring themed baskets and handmade items, various raffles, children’s activities and pictures with Santa, and a delicious breakfast and lunch menu featuring homemade soups and sandwiches, and apple dumplings. An array of vendors will be offering their crafts, creations and products.
