Denton VFC host­ing break­fast with Santa

DENTON — Denton Vol­un­teer Fire Com­pany will be host­ing a Break­fast with Santa from 8 a.m. to noon Sun­day, Dec. 16.

Lis­ten for the Sirens, The elves at the Denton Vol­un­teer Fire Com­pany will be help­ing Santa and spread Christ­mas Cheer through­out Denton be­gin­ning at dusk, about 5 p.m. Satur­day, Dec. 22.

They will be vis­it­ing the good boys and girls of Mal­lard Land­ing, Sa­van­nah Over­look, Trice Mead­ows, Bri­ar­wood Cir­cle and on the streets of Down­town Denton.

When you hear the sirens, come out and see Santa be­fore he heads back to the North Pole. cer­e­mony at 10 a.m. Satur­day, Dec. 15.

Or­ga­niz­ers hope to lay a wreath on more than 7,000 graves at the ceme­tery Satur­day.

Wreaths Across Amer­ica be­gan in 2007 at Ar­ling­ton Na­tional Ceme­tery. Now on Na­tional Wreaths Across Amer­ica Day on Dec. 15, vol­un­teers will place wreaths on graves at more than 1,200 lo­ca­tions through­out the U.S.
