Crusaders collecting cans, goods for Food Drive

St. Bernard’s Academy will be collecting canned food, warm coats and socks Saturday during the Crusader football game from 12 to 5 p.m. at Crusader Field. A Crusader t-shirt will be given to anyone bringing a donation of 10 cans, a coat or three pairs of socks.

Students, families and friends are once again participating in Senator McGuire’s Humboldt Holiday Food Drive, of which they are the reigning two-time Golden Can Winner for bringing in over 11,000 pounds of food. The Humboldt-Del Norte Student Athlete Advisory Committee is hosting a Winter Clothes Drive throughout both counties through December 20, 2019.

Donations may also be brought to the school Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 222 Dollison Street, Eureka.
