Fortuna: The Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars 2207will be hosting a Christmas bazaar on Dec. 7from 10a.m. to 4p.m. at the Fortuna Veterans Memorial Building, 1426Main St. Admission is free. A variety of vendors will be attending.

ART ON DISPLAY

Eureka: The Redwood Art Associatio­n will host “Artists’ Choice” for Arts Alive! Dec. 7from 6to 9p.m. A wide variety of media will be shown, all representa­tive of the various artist-members with RAA. Music will be provided by the Humboldt Accordiona­ires. TOUR THE REFUGE

Arcata: Join Friends of the Dunes naturalist Carol Vander Meer for a free guided tour of the Lanphere Dunes Unit of the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday from 10a.m. to 1p.m. The Lanphere Dunes Unit is home to diverse coastal ecosystems. Participan­ts will meet at Pacific Union School, 3001Janes Road in Arcata, to carpool to the protected site.
