Hops in Humboldt to award array of local grants

For over 16 years, Hops in Humboldt has granted funds to hundreds of organizations throughout Humboldt County, and this year is no different. Proceeds from the event are given to organizations that fall within five categories; schools, youth activities, senior programs, municipal programs, and drug and alcohol prevention. To date, Hops has granted over $500,000 to local groups including Boy Scouts of America, Humboldt Senior Resource Center, Food for People, Every 15 Minutes and more.

Saturday is the deadline to apply for grants funded by Hops in Humboldt 2019. 2019 event-goers contributed to over $30,000 in net profits to be granted into the community.

Organizations that fall within one of the five categories can visit Hopsinhumboldt.com and click on the grant application link and fill out a grant form. Applications will be reviewed and funds will be dispersed at the annual grant ceremony at Fortuna’s River Lodge in March. For more information, email info@ hopsinhumboldt.com.
