TUESDAY PLAY CRIBBAGE Ferndale:

The cribbage group meets weekly at 10 a.m. Tuesdays in the kitchen of the Lutheran Church, Shaw and Fourth streets. For more informatio­n, call 707-798-9788.

CRIBBAGE GAMES Eureka:

The Humboldt Cribbage Club plays cribbage Tuesdays at 6:15p.m. at the Moose Club, 4328 Campton Road. Free cribbage lessons are available. For more informatio­n, call 707-444-3161.

BINGO GAMES Eureka:

Bingo is played Tuesdays at the Moose Lodge, 4328 Campton Road. Doors open at 5 p.m. Early bird games start at 6 p.m. Regular games start at 6:30 p.m. There’s an 80 percent payout. Proceeds go back into the community. A snack bar is available.

Wednesday FOR THE GARDEN

Fortuna: The Fortuna Garden Club welcomes 2020with its first meeting of the year on Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m. with social time, followed by the business meeting at 1:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Monday Club, Sixth and Main streets. Light refreshmen­ts will be served. The program will be a presentati­on by the Fortuna Chamber of Commerce about all of the groups, service clubs and activities that the city of Fortuna offers. Thursday FIGURE DRAWING Eureka:

The Figure Drawing Group meets Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cheri Blackerby Gallery, 272C St. Go into the courtyard on C Street. The cost is $5. For more informatio­n, call 707442-0309.

Monday MOOSE DANCE Eureka:

The Moose Lodge dance takes place Mondays from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Lodge No. 636, 4329 Campton Road. There is live music and a bar. The cost is $6per person at the door. For more informatio­n, call Shirley at 707-4450517.

BAND REHEARSAL Scotia:

Scotia Band, Humboldt County’s oldest Community Band since 1935, invites all Humboldt County woodwind, brass and percussion musicians (intermedia­te level and above) of all ages to join. Membership is free. The band rehearses with conductor Ken Ayoob Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the Fortuna High Band Room and perform publicly or in schools approximat­ely 10 times per year.
