ANOTHER ATTEMPTED MURDER: On Saturday around 7:10 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the
38000 block of state Route 96 in Orleans for the report of a stabbing.
The victim, a 30-year-old female, was taken to a local hospital prior to deputies’ arrival.
When deputies arrive, they learned the victim had been attending a public gathering and was outside of the event, in the parking lot,
when she was approached by the suspect, 40-year-old Carlyle White Otter Blake. Blake and the victim knew each other prior to the incident.
At some point during Blake and the victim’s exchange, Blake reportedly stabbed the victim multiple times in her upper body area. Blake then fled the scene in a vehicle.
