Arcata Fire District Board of Directors
When: Second Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m.
Where: Arcata Station classroom, 631 Ninth St., Arcata
• The board will meet at 5 p.m. in closed session to discuss labor negotiations.
• The board will discuss district priorities and how to continue operations in light of Measure R appearing on track to fail.
• The board will consider eliminating overtime coverage and a firefighter over hire position.

Arcata Planning Commission
When: Second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 6 p.m.
Where: City Hall Council Chamber: 736 F St, Arcata
• The Tuesday meeting is canceled.
Humboldt Bay Fire Joint Powers Authority
When: Second Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m.
Where: Humboldt Bay Fire Conference Room, 533 C Street Eureka,
• Eureka City Manager Dean Lotter will be officially introduced.
• Director Kathi Hendricks will tender her resignation. The board is requested to appoint a replacement.
• The board is requested to approve a 5% salary increase for the deputy fire chief
• The board will consider a claim regarding an accident on Feb. 24 involving the Pierce Tiller.

Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District
When: Second Thursday of each month at 9 a.m.
Where: 828 Seventh St., Eureka
• The board will meet in closed session to discuss a performance evaluation of the general manager and two cases of anticipated litigation.
• The board will consider whether to adopt the Humboldt County Operational Area Hazard Mitigation Plan.
• The board will discuss AB 2182, a new piece of legislation addressing PG&E public safety power shutoffs.

Humboldt County Board of Supervisors
When: Every Tuesday except for the fifth Tuesday of a month
Where: Supervisors chambers, 825 Fifth St., Eureka
• The board will consider the appointment of Richard Marks to the North Coast Railroad Authority.
• The board will consider the appointment of Rhiannon Lewis-Stephenson to the Fish and Game Advisory Commission.
• The board will receive a a challenge award from the California State Association of Counties.
• The board will meet in closed session at 10:30 a.m. to discuss legal cases relating to County Counsel Jeff Blanck.
• Also during closed session, the board will discuss the performance evaluation of the public defender, and meeting with legal counsel on exposure to litigation and to another piece of litigation.

Trinidad City Council
When: Second (and fourth) Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m.
Where: Trinidad Town Hall 409 Trinity St., Trinidad
• The council will discuss it’s email notification procedure and archiving public comments.
• The council will receive an update on the November 2020 city election and a sales tax measure.
