2020 ‘Local Food Guide’ is now available
Locally Delicious, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the evolution of a strong, sustainable local food system and its positive impact on the environment, has announced that the fourth annual “The Local Food Guide” for Humboldt and Del Norte counties is now available.
Copies can be found wherever free publications are displayed. Any organization wanting quantities for their location should contact Locally Delicious at 707-633-5467 or info@ locally-delicious.org.
This year’s guide features local grain enthusiast and baker Rhonda Wiedenbeck of Beck’s Bakery on the cover, along with a selection of her wares. Inside, readers will find listings for farms, ranches and fisheries, farm stands, U-picks and CSAs, farmers’ markets, restaurants, food trucks and pop-ups, caterers, grocery stores, packaged foods, food-related events and education, seeds, starts and supplies, and community gardens across the North Coast. Also included are new articles featuring local food producers, farming practices, and taking care of our environment, and scattered throughout are hints and tips on smart shopping and what everyone can do to support a strong and sustainable local food system.

A total of 15,000 copies of The Local Food Guide have been printed and are currently being distributed throughout the region. Individuals are encouraged to contact Locally Delicious at info@locally-delicious.org to obtain guides if they’re unable to locate copies.
