Stores with senior, disabled shopping hours

Costco

The store is open from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Saturday is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The store opens an hour earlier on Tuesday and Thursdays to allow seniors and those with disabilities time to shop. The hours for seniors and those with disabilities are from 8 to 9 a.m.

Eureka Natural Foods

All locations of the store are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m on Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

The first hour the store is open is reserved for seniors and those with immune-compromised systems.

North Coast Co-op

The co-op locations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The first hour of the day is reserved for seniors only. (The special hours do not apply to those with disabilities, pregnant women or those with immunecompromised systems.)

Safeway

The stores in Eureka, Arcata and McKinleyville are open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 9 a.m., the store offers seniors and other vulnerable shoppers a special shopping period. Some Safeway locations might not restrict other shoppers during those hours set aside for seniors, but the goal is to provide time for those who are more at-risk time to shop.

Target

Wednesdays from 8 to 9 a.m. are reserved for seniors, pregnant women and those with health concerns.

The store is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Walmart

The store is open every day from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. On Tuesdays, the store opens an hour earlier to allow seniors, those with disabilities, and those with compromised immune systems to shop from 6 to 7 a.m.

Wildberries

The store is open from 6 a.m. to midnight every day. The first hour of operation every day is open to seniors, those with disabilities and those with immune-compromised systems. In addition, seniors can receive a 10% shopping discount.
