Editor’s note: Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, area churches have made adjustment­s to their regular services. Most are offering online services. Here are some of the local church responses.

EUREKA CENTER FOR SPIRITUAL LIVING

Eureka (239 Buhne St.):

Eureka (1032 Bay St.):

Services are available online. Pastor Matt Messner will be preaching the next message in the series “I am” titled “I Am the Way.” His message comes from John 14:1-7. Faith Center will also be hosting a Good Friday service online April 10at 6 p.m. Easter services will be streamed on April 11at 6 p.m. and April 12 at 8a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 .am. Faith Center’s building is currently closed for walk-in appointmen­ts during the week, though the staff is ready to respond to requests and questions during this crisis. Assistance is available and appointmen­ts are still being scheduled. On Sunday, Christ Church Eureka will celebrate Palm Sunday, the Sunday of the Passion. The liturgy marks the beginning of Holy Week. In this service, people will journey with Jesus as he is welcomed in triumph upon entering Jerusalem and then utterly rejected and crucified at Golgotha outside the gates of the city. Sunday’s service will be the first one of Holy Week livestream­ed at Christ Church.
