Churches continue with online services

EUREKA CENTER FOR SPIRITUAL LIVING Eureka (239 Buhne St.):

FAITH CENTER Eureka (1032 Bay St.):

This weekend, Pastor John Salmon preaches the next message in the series “Real ID.” His message, “Tribe: Finding Your Place in God’s Church,” comes out of Ephesians 2:19-22. This weekend, Faith Center will be reassembli­ng with a limited capacity for the first time in two months. Faith Center will operate in compliance with guidelines given by the CDC, the State of California and Humboldt County. Children will have to stay with their household unit and attendees will have to wear masks. If you have health risks or are symptomati­c in any way, you’re encouraged to watch services live at home. Services are live-streamed Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 9:30and 11a.m. at eurekafait­hcenter.org, on Facebook Live and through the church app.

EUREKA FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH Eureka (520 Del Norte St.):

FORTUNA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

ST. MARK’S LUTHERAN CHURCH (LCMS) Ferndale (795 Berding St.):

The Divine Service will be held on the church lawn at 10:30a.m. Sunday, abiding by six-foot physical distancing. McKinleyvi­lle (1645 Fischer Road): Worship services remain suspended until the shelter-in-place order is lifted. Once the church does start having services, whatever requiremen­ts are in place will be enforced, including social distancing, wearing face mask, hand washing and hand sanitizer. Way): “Music Day 2020!” will be presented Sunday in an 11a.m. Zoom service. It will be preceded at 10:30 a.m. by a Religious Education service with a song and story for all ages. This service will celebrate music and all that it offers, both in times of struggle and in times of joy. It will be a mixture of prerecorde­d performanc­es, plus some live music (hymns and other sing-along opportunit­ies for attendees) and other special music-related offerings. Fellowship member Richard Kossow will lead a musical meditation, Thea Gast and Kaelyn Rocheleau will present readings and Eve Anderson will share photos in a musical montage.
