East High grad in spotlight
Longtime AAUW (American Association of University Women) of Humboldt member Dorothy Skyonsby recently arranged for East High School graduate Kreada Foust, pictured, to receive a digital tablet. Foust received the award from Simon Rios, a teacher at East High School. The AAUW is a long-standing institution started in 1881. Its mission is to advance gender equity for women and girls through research, education and advocacy. The local association is supporting local women and especially students in the community.
