Art festival moves to Henderson Center

-

The third annual Eureka Street Art Festival will be spreading color throughout the Henderson Center neighborhood from Aug. 10 to 15.

Due to the coronavirus, this year’s festival will look a little different. There will not be any large gatherings, but the festival will stay true to its mission of bringing colorful murals to brighten the neighborhoods of Eureka.

Everyone is invited to walk through Henderson Center throughout the weeklong festival to watch painting in progress or to participate in “Virtual Daily Art Walks,” which will be streamed on

Facebook Live and available to watch on the festival website. Organizers will be publishing a selfguided walking tour on the website and social media sites leading up to the event to help everyone enjoy this event at their own pace and in a physically distanced and safe manner.

For more information, follow the festival on instagram @eurekastreetartfestival and visit www.eurekastreetartfestival.com.

The Eureka Street Art Festival’s mission is to create intentional, accessible art that enlivens public spaces, stimulates community revitalization and attracts visitors to Eureka.
