‘We all need to be civil and move forward’

Responding to the short letter Bill Morris wrote “Looks like Trump’s wall got built, and we paid for it” (Times-Standard, June 7, Page A4): Was he sarcastically adding fuel to flame a new fire? My heart bleeds seeing the mayor of Washington, D.C., had a street painted in bold letters, “BLACK LIVES MATTER” ... they do but they don’t stand alone and if anything it should read, “ALL LIVES MATTER.” Statistics show our current president and his team have done more for the black community but not given honest media coverage and one would ask, why?

Trying times for sure with honest protests and violent protests. Think we all need to be civil and move forward in discussion and support of our great nation, the United States of America.
