Stores should take lead in mask enforcement

Reading Wednesday’s front page headline, “Trinidad ‘overrun’ by mask-less tourists” (Times-Standard, Page A1): For the past month’s Eureka stores, have signs posted that say, people entering MUST be wearing a mask. Are the Trinidad stores saying the same message? An out of the area tourist wouldn’t even need to be confronted with a question, please wear a mask, if they saw a sign at the entrance. — Harold McArthur, Eureka
