The matter of defunding police? A ridiculous idea

The matter of defunding police is a ridiculous idea. Just this week a man was arrested for the fourth time for burglary and possession of stolen property. Who would arrest these types? Who would control traffic? Who would investigate breakins or illegal marijuana grows? We need our police! We have good departments in Eureka, Arcata, Ferndale and Fortuna and the Sheriff’s office. Keep them funded! Second, I heard on the radio someone wants to change the name of Fort Bragg because it was named after a Confederate general.
