The 22nd digital concert of the Trinity Alps Chamber Music Festival, “Classical Crossover,” is slated for 5 p.m. Sunday. Register for the event at https://www. trinityalpscmf.org. Admission is on a pay-what-youcan sliding scale, also accessible via the website.

“Our current format for programs puts an emphasis on creating a real live experience,” said festival director and program host Ian Scarfe. “Each concert not only offers live musical performances, but also short interviews with our musicians and guest artists from around the world, as well as a chance for the audience to participate in a Q& A session and live discussion.”

This weekend, James Jaffe will perform Spanish virtuoso works for cello and violinist Brynn Albanese will show her range of styles, with a crossover program featuring everything from Bach to Celtic fiddle to film score arrangements.

Jaffe has been a long time regular of the Trinity Alps Chamber Music Festival, appearing in several “Midwinter Beethoven” programs, numerous summer festivals and the outreach programs for area schools. He will play different works by Spanish classical composers Gaspar Cassado and Pablo de Sarasate, showing how the cello can capture the virtuoso spirit and dance rhythms of Spain.

Albanese has been a member of orchestras including The Hague, the Boston Symphony and the Boston Pops. Aside from prodigious classical chops, she also performs world music with her band Cafe Musique, fiddles in Celtic and Scottish styles and performs her own arrangements of popular standards from the jazz age.

The Trinity Alps Chamber Music Festival has supported 42 different professional musicians in these online performances, raised money to offer “adapting musical career grants” to 10 young artists and continued offering music to over 3,000 audience members. These concerts have featured performers from across the United States, Canada, and Europe, and even as far as the Republic of Georgia in the Caucasus.
