Body found under the Humboldt Bay docks
The Eureka Police Department launched a death investigation Monday after a body was found floating underneath a dock in Humboldt Bay.
Eureka Police and Humboldt Bay Fire responded and removed the body, which was determined to be male, from the water early Monday morning. The body, which has not been identified yet, was transferred to the Humboldt County Coroner’s Office shortly thereafter, according to EPD spokesperson Brittany Powell. No evidence of foul play is suspected at this point.
