Arcata City Council
When: First and third Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m.
Where: The meeting will be available via Access Humboldt channel 10 and the city’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube. com/channel/ UCJYGp9zDPdWMG tA0BtfFX_A.
• The council is scheduled to discuss amending the city’s commercial cannabis activity permit regulations.
• The council is scheduled to adopt an annual progress plan for the city’s general plan.
• The council is scheduled to appoint new members to the parks and recreation committee.

Eureka City Council
When: First and third Tuesdays of the month at 6 p.m.
Where: The meeting will be available via cable channel 10 and the city’s website at https://www. ci.eureka.ca.gov/.
• Under its consent calendar, the council is scheduled to name a winning bid for the city’s 2022water improvements project.
• The council is scheduled to receive a report in the city’s zero waste action plan.
• The council is scheduled to receive a strategic visioning update.

Fortuna City Council
When: First and third Monday of every month at 6 p.m.

• Prior to the regular meeting, the council is scheduled to hold a special review workshop on the mandatory organic waste disposal ordinance at 4:30p.m.
• The council is scheduled to hold a public hearing and conduct a second reading of an ordinance governing the local police department’s military equipment use.
• The council is scheduled to discuss an amendment to the city’s general plan land use map.

Humboldt County Board of Supervisors
When: Every Tuesday except for the fifth Tuesday of a month at 9 a.m.

• The board will consider an agreement with the California Department of Public Health for the county’s response to COVID-19.
• The board will consider a letter to San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin over an “open-air illegal drug market in the SF Tenderloin District and the severe impacts on Humboldt County.”
• The board will consider making at-large appointments to the housing trust fund and homelessness solutions committee.

Humboldt County Planning Commission
When: First Thursday of the month at 6 p.m.
Where: Board of Supervisors chambers, 825 5th St., Eureka
• The commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing regarding the Old Arcata Road rehabilitation project and pedestrian and bikeway improvements coastal development permits.

McKinleyville Community Services District
When: First Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m.
Where: Azalea Hall, 1620 Pickett Road, McKinleyville
• The district board will discuss the installation of a pump track at a property designated for a skate park.
• The district board will review draft operations budgets for water, wastewater and streetlight funds for fiscal year 2022-2023.
