Reasons to vote for Stacey Eads as DA

Stacey Eads is a candidate for the position of District Attorney for Humboldt County. This week we had the opportunity to hear Stacey Eads speak at a local gathering in Eureka, and we found her to be a very impressive candidate. She is currently Assistant District Attorney and is strongly endorsed by Maggie Fleming, current DA. We support her to be elected our next Humboldt County District Attorney for the following reasons:

First, she has had 20 years of experience prosecuting crime in Humboldt. She is known for her follow-through, integrity and professionalism. She has a deep-rooted passion to help crime victims and survivors through the process as they search for justice.

Second, she has focused on the protection of children, victims of physical, sexual or emotional abuse, and Stacey has been determined to compassionately help these children through the system, investigating, and bringing successful jury verdicts, imprisoning abusers.

Third, she is dedicated to retaining an experienced team of prosecutors. She knows the importance of recruiting skilled professionals. She navigates through new legislation which has made her and her team’s jobs even tougher.

Fourth, her parents raised her locally with the character qualities of honesty, compassion, and kindness while emphasizing the importance of hard work. Stacey’s fine character reflects these qualities, and her educational background exemplifies her hard work.
